Day 2 August/Septermber Trip North

Had a great night of rest in RESTON and headed for METRO 20 min away in FAIRFAX. Note how happy Beth's likes a 40 minute ride into D.C. We saw the usual great landmarks and then Beth's History Museum. Took a break but paid dearly for it. Walked over to OBAMA'S house and caught Beth out front. Even her good looks did not get the gate open. Enclosed a picture of Lafayette Park(see guy on horse). This was the hangout of the Camel Club as they oversaw the White House in Baldacci's books.We finished off the day with early dinner at EBBITTs-oldest saloon, grille, restaurant in D.C. Just around corner from White House on 15th.
